Our National Park Bucket List: 5 We’re Dying to Visit Together

We’ve already checked off some amazing National Parks from our list—Arches, Capitol Reef, Denali, Kenai Fjords, Olympic, and Mount Rainier. Can you believe Samuel even snuck off to explore a few without me? Rude! 😆
But this blog is all about our adventures together—where we’ve been and where we’re itching to go next!
So here it is… Our Top 5 National Parks We’re DYING to Visit! 🏞️✨
1. Yellowstone National Park
This one has been at the top of our list forever. The geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, and volcanic landscapes—it sounds like a nature lover’s dream! Plus, the wildlife is supposed to be incredible. Honestly, it reminds us a bit of Alaska, which makes us even more curious to see it for ourselves. 🐻🌲
2. Yosemite National Park
I feel like everyone I know has been to Yosemite and raves about it. From the dramatic cliffs of El Capitan to the iconic Half Dome, the views are on another level. (Also, yes—we’ve watched that Free Solo, but that did not scare us. ) We’d love to finally see it all in person!
3. Bryce Canyon National Park
This one hits a little harder because we almost made it there while living in Utah… but time just got away from us. The photos alone are enough to convince me it’s worth the trip back. Those orange spires and hoodoos feel like something from another planet. It’s happening someday—we’re manifesting it. 🧡🏜️
4. Great Smoky Mountains National Park
It’s the most-visited National Park in the U.S.—and somehow still one we haven’t made it to yet?! The misty mountains, lush trails, and spots like Clingmans Dome and Laurel Falls have us completely sold. I just know we’d love soaking up the scenery and the slower pace out there.
5. North Cascades National Park
Washington, we’re not done with you yet. After falling in love with Olympic and Mount Rainier, we knew we’d have to come back for the grand finale—North Cascades. From what we’ve seen, the views are unreal. It’s a little more rugged and remote, which makes it even more intriguing. One day!
If you’ve been to any of these parks, we’d love to hear your recommendations—whether it’s your favorite trail, the best scenic overlook, or just something we absolutely can’t miss. Drop your tips in the comments!
And once we finally make it to these places? You can bet we’ll be back with the inside scoop on what’s worth the hike (and what snacks we packed, because priorities).
