Miles, Memories & Mushu 🐈

Since the moment Samuel asked me to be his girlfriend in April 2021, we’ve basically lived out of a suitcase (and we’re not mad about it). That same month, I surprised him with a trip while he was in New York. Our adventure-packed story took off from there.

By August, we road-tripped to Florida, cruising through Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Not long after, we did something a little wild—we moved to Utah! We took the scenic route through New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado, and settled into a new chapter full of mountains and exploration.

In March 2022, we flew to Hawaii for a dreamy wedding (spoiler alert: we’re 100% going back!). After that, we started exploring closer to home with weekend trips to Wyoming and Idaho. For my 21st birthday, we celebrated big in Las Vegas, and less than a month later we marveled at Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado for Samuel’s birthday.

As much as we loved our time in Utah, Texas kept tugging at our hearts. So in March 2023, we made our way back home—visiting my sister in Denver and catching a wedding in Amarillo along the way, cat in lap and car packed to the brim. A month later, Samuel proposed—and of course, I said yes! 💍

Most of 2023 flew by with wedding planning (with a quick Thanksgiving getaway to Louisiana), and in April 2024, we finally said “I do.” After a year of planning, we were off again—this time honeymooning in Alaska and Washington by May 2025.

And guess what? We’re just getting started.
